Many companies require their employees to discharge a fire extinguisher as part of their hazardous materials training. In this 4-hour course you will learn all about fires, how they start, what kind of fire extinguisher you can use for different types of fires. Your safety training will also include operation of a fire extinguisher as you're faced with a real live fire, under controlled conditions of course. A competency exam is required and you will receive certification in fire extinguisher training valid for 3 years. This course can be completed on-site or at our facility. You will also learn about the four different kinds of fire extinguishers.
